At the 49th National Conference of Archivists in Jammu, CloudMojo Tech showcased innovative solutions to tackle digital preservation challenges facing Indian archives. Addressing risks like bit rot, format obsolescence, and data corruption, CloudMojo emphasized sustainable strategies to ensure the longevity of digital assets.
Central to our approach is the Digital Asset Health Check, using AI-driven automation to validate file integrity, metadata, and formats like TIFF 6.0. CloudMojo advocates the 3-2-1 backup strategy—three copies, two media types, one offsite—paired with a hybrid storage model combining LTO tape and cloud layers (Hot Storage and Glacier Deep Archive) for resilience.
Our Rock Vault platform, powered by AI/ML, offers real-time monitoring, integrity checks, and ISO 16363-compliant analytics. Proven through a partnership with the National Archives of India, managing 15 petabytes of data with disaster recovery and encryption, CloudMojo’s model is now available for State and UT archives.
Preservation is a continuous process, and CloudMojo is bridging the gaps with proven technology. Archives are invited to start with a health check and explore scalable solutions to safeguard India’s digital legacy.
